Recite.

זֵכֶר לְמִקְדָּשׁ כְּהִלֵּל: כֵּן עָשָׂה הִלֵּל בִּזְמַן שֶׁבֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ הָיָה קַיָּם. הָיָה כּוֹרֵךְ פֶּסַח מַצָּה וּמָרוֹר וְאוֹכֵל בְּיַחַד. לְקַיֵּם מַה שֶּׁנֶּאֱמַר: עַל-מַצּוֹת וּמְרוֹרִים יֹאכְלֻהוּ

To remind us of the Temple we do as Hillel did in Temple times; he combined matzah and maror in a sandwich and ate them together, to fulfill what is written in the Torah: “They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.”

 

Eat the sandwich.

Recline toward the left.
