אָז רוֹב נִסִּים הִפְלֵאתָ בַּלַּיְלָה, בְּרֹאשׁ אַשְׁמוּרוֹת זֶה הַלַּיְלָה, גֵּר צֶדֶק נִצַּחְתּוֹ כְּנֶחֶלַק לוֹ לַיְלָה

Many miracles You performed at night, at the beginning of the watch of this very night, the righteous convert, Abraham, triumphed when the night was divided for him;

דַּנְתָּ מֶלֶךְ גְּרָר בַּחֲלוֹם הַלַּיְלָה, הִפְחַדְתָּ אֲרַמִּי בְּאֶמֶשׁ לַיְלָה, וַיָּשַׁר יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַלְאָךְ וַיּוּכַל לוֹ לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
You judged the King of G’rar, Abimelech, during a dream at night, You frightened the Aramean, Laban, in the dark of night, Israel, fought with an angel and overcame him by night;

זֶרַע בְּכוֹרֵי פַתְרוֹס מָחַצְתָּ בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה, חֵילָם לֹא מָצְאוּ בְּקוּמָם בַּלַּיְלָה, טִיסַת נְגִיד חֲרֹשֶׁת סִלִּיתָ בְכוֹכְבֵי לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
The firstborn of Egypt You smote at midnight, they did not find strength upon arising at night, the army of Charoshet, Sisera, You swept away with the stars of the night;

יָעַץ מְחָרֵף לְנוֹפֵף אִוּוּי, הוֹבַשְׁתָּ פְגָרָיו בַּלַּיְלָה, כָּרַע בֵּל וּמַצָּבוֹ בְּאִישׁוֹן לַיְלָה, לְאִישׁ חֲמוּדוֹת נִגְלָה רָז חֲזוֹת לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
The blasphemous, Sennacherib, planned to rise against Your desired, Jerusalem, but you disgraced him at night, Babylon’s idol fell in the dark of night, Daniel was shown the secret of the king’s dream of the night;
It came to pass at midnight.
מִשְׁתַּכֵּר בִּכְלֵי קֹדֶשׁ נֶהֱרַג בּוֹ בַּלַּיְלָה, נוֹשַׁע מִבּוֹר אֲרָיוֹת פּוֹתֵר בִּעֲתוּתֵי לַיְלָה. שִׂנְאָה נָטַר אֲגָגִי וְכָתַב סְפָרִים לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
Belshazzar, who drank from the Temple’s vessel, was killed that same night; Daniel who was saved from the lion’s den interpreted the visions of night; Hateful Haman the Agagite wrote letters in the night;
It came to pass at midnight.
עוֹרַרְתָּ נִצְחֲךָ עָלָיו בְּנֶדֶד שְׁנַת לַיְלָה, פּוּרָה תִדְרוֹךְ לְשׁוֹמֵר מַה מִּלַּיְלָה, צָרַח כַּשֹּׁמֵר וְשָׂח אָתָא בֹקֶר וְגַם לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
You did triumph against Haman in the king’s sleepless night; Crush the evil and aid those who ask; “What of the night?” The watchman responds: “Morning comes after night”;

קָרֵב יוֹם אֲשֶׁר הוּא לֹא יוֹם וְלֹא לַיְלָה, רָם הוֹדַע כִּי לְךָ הַיּוֹם אַף לְךָ הַלַּיְלָה, שׁוֹמְרִים הַפְקֵד לְעִירְךָ כָּל הַיוֹם וְכָל הַלַּיְלָה, תָּאִיר כְּאוֹר יוֹם חֶשְׁכַּת לַיְלָה
:וַיְהִי בַּחֲצִי הַלַּיְלָה
Hasten the eternal day which is not really day or night; Exalted One, proclaim that You are day and night; Set guards about thy city all day and night; Brighten as day the darkness of the night;

:אַדִּיר בִּמְלוּכָה, בָּכוּר כַּהֲלָכָה, גְּדוּדָיו יֹאמְרוּ לוֹ
.לְךָ וּלְךָ, לְךָ כִּי לְךָ, לְךָ אַף לְךָ , לְךָ יְיָ הַמַּמְלָכָה
כִּי לוֹ נָאֶה, כִּי לוֹ יָאֶה
Powerful in kingship, truly chosen, His troops sing to Him:
“Yours only Yours, O Lord, is the Majestic Kingdom.”
Beautiful praises are His due
L’cha u’l’cha, l’cha kee l’cha, l’cha af l’cha. L’cha Adonai ha’mam’lacha.
Kee lo na’eh, kee lo ya’eh.
:דָּגוּל בִּמְלוּכָה, הָדוּר כַּהֲלָכָה, וְתִיקָיו יֹאמְרוּ לוֹ
.לְךָ וּלְךָ, לְךָ כִּי לְךָ, לְךָ אַף לְךָ , לְךָ יְיָ הַמַּמְלָכָה
כִּי לוֹ נָאֶה, כִּי לוֹ יָאֶה
Famous in kingship, truly glorious, His faithful sing to Him:
“Yours only Yours, O Lord, is the Majestic Kingdom.”

.לְךָ וּלְךָ, לְךָ כִּי לְךָ, לְךָ אַף לְךָ , לְךָ יְיָ הַמַּמְלָכָה
כִּי לוֹ נָאֶה, כִּי לוֹ יָאֶה
Guiltless in kingship, truly strong, His angels sing to Him:
“Yours only Yours, O Lord, is the Majestic Kingdom.”
