הִנְנִי מוּכָן וּמְזוּמָּן לְקַיֵּם מִצְוַת אֳכִילַת מַצָּה, לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּיהּ עַל יְדֵי הַהוּא טְמִיר וְנֶעְלָם בְּשֵׁם כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל
I am ready and prepared to observe the mitzvah of bitter herbs for the sake of the Holy One blessed be He.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיַָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ עַל אֲכִילַת מָרוֹר
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with your commandments, and commanded us concerning the eating of the bitter herbs.
